Hubie Dubois (Adam Sandler) thanklessly spends every Halloween making sure the residents of his hometown, Salem, celebrate safely and play by the rules. But this year, an escaped criminal and a mysterious new neighbor have Hubie on high alert. When people start disappearing, it’s up to Hubie to convince the police (Kevin James, Kenan Thompson) and townsfolk that the monsters are real, and only he can stop them.
Hubie Halloween is a hilarious family film about an unlikely hero with an all-star cast including Julie Bowen, Ray Liotta, Noah Schnapp, Steve Buscemi, and Maya Rudolph, produced by Happy Madison.

The Sorcerous Traditions of the Mediterranean regions are a continum from antiquity through to the modern era. They have the influence of myriad cults, cultures, and lives. Incredibly diverse, they speak to the tenacity of the human experience. Join Navie Sousa in exploring the rich magic and heritage of Italy, Greece, France, the Levant, and Egypt.
Navi Sousa (they/them) is a Priestex of the Goddess Diana, serving Her primarily through the initiatory path of Stregoneria Italian (Italian Witchery.) They are also an initiate of Alexandrian Wica, with toes dipped into other paths as well. Making their home in New England, they can be found walking along the beach or frequenting local cafes. Rumor has it that they are way too excited about chai tea lattes, occult history, and dismantling oppressive regimes.

Timed tickets required. If you have already purchased your museum tickets, please call 978-745-9500 to arrange your Ropes Mansion tickets.
Ropes Mansion is not wheelchair accessible. Visitors must enter and exit using a set of stone steps; parts of the tour are only accessible via a staircase.
Built in 1727 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Ropes Mansion is recognized as one of New England’s most significant historic structures. Fans of the 1993 movie Hocus Pocus will also recognize it as “Allison’s house” – though the inside of the home did not appear in the film. Instead, its decorations and furnishings reflect a renovation by sisters Sarah, Mary and Eliza Ropes in the 1890s. Visitors can explore the mansion at their own pace with PEM Guides on hand to answer questions.
Visits inside the mansion are $5 per person and require the purchase of museum admission. Tickets can be purchased in advance online, at the Admissions desk inside the museum (161 Essex Street) or via QR code at Ropes Mansion. Timed entries are at 15 and 45 minutes past the hour, with only a limited number of people allowed in the house at a time. Visitors are requested to arrive 10 minutes before their entry time. The last entry of the day is at 3:15 pm.
The Ropes Mansion Garden is open to the public every day from dawn to dusk and is free to visit. Learn more about the house with PEM Walks.

Sink your fangs into this Halloween season with Arpeggione. Experience the 1922 silent film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror with a live performance of the original score for theater orchestra at Cinema Salem. Arpeggione will be performing on historical instruments from the early 20th century, including harmonium, flute, clarinet, and strings.
From the eerily corpse-like appearance of Max Schreck as Orlok to the oft parodied staircase camera shot at the film’s climax, Nosferatu set the standard for the modern horror film as well as the genre of vampire films. As the earliest adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula for film, Nosferatu is the source of several of the most enduring aspects of modern day vampire lore.
Fans of horror, music enthusiasts, lovers of all things vintage and strange… see and hear Nosferatu as it would have sounded when it was first screened. Hurry– these tickets expire at dawn!

The Salem Witch Trials happened over 300 years ago, and it has been dramatized in books, documentaries, movies, and even TV shows. Over the years it has been presented so many times in so many ways that the line between fact and fiction gets blurred. Our walking tour seeks to debunk any misconceptions you might have about the Salem Witch Trials, by sharing historic images, documents, and locations to uncover these myths and discover the truth behind this infamous time period in Salem’s history.
All walking tour tickets include entry to our documentary film Salem Witch Hunt: Examine the Evidence which features authentic dialogue taken from court transcripts and commentary by renowned Salem Witch Trial scholars. Scenes depicted in the film were shot at actual locations associated with the Witch Trials of 1692. (Film is shown 11:00am, 1:00pm) You can choose to see the film before or after your walking tour.
