I am a jeweler and illustrator, I sell sterling silver fine jewelry and prints of my illustrations. My work across the board is thematically fantastical and mythic. I draw inspiration from medieval art, New England folklore and history, fantasy tales and the rich history of spirituality in art. My illustrations are vibrant and vividly colored digital paintings; scenes of sword and sorcery, with monster women and fantastic beasts here and there. I typically make prints 8x10in or 11x14in, but offer some large scale pieces on a rolling basis. My jewelry work feeds off my illustrations, it is sculptural in a way that naturally goes hand-in-hand with my drawings but stands alone just as beautifully. I have sculpted silver pendants and earrings, daggers and axes and human eyes in relief, as well as a line of painted ceramic pieces set in silver. I hand paint them all with icons and symbolism that evoke the imagery in my larger body of illustrative work. I have been part of the cohort of artists in Hive and Forge for over a year now, and my work has become locally recognizable in both the Salem and Boston areas. My show presence is very professional and suited to a Halloween-time event. My booth has track lighting, cohesive displays, and eye-catching signage, and I decorate thematically to suit my work and the holiday/event. I am passionate about attending local events and do everything I can as an individual to promote and uplift everyone involved with vending and organizing.
