In my shop I sell mainly linocut printed items such as clothes, bags, patches and paper prints. I also dabble in stickers and buttons or whatever else interests me at any given moment. My wearable items are one-of-a-kind and upcycled; utilizing not only my prints, but also fabric dye, embroidery, sewing, bleach, and acrylic paint. I aim to make unique and eccentric clothing for people of all sizes, and care deeply about inclusivity as a small artist. My work is explicitly by a queer person, and for queer and queer-allied people, exploring themes of community, healing, and queer culture. My prints are a mix of a dark and somber aesthetics as well as very silly themes like my “catboys for communism” print. My style is maximalist, edgy at times, and can best be categorized as “wearble art”. Lastly, as a downtown salem resident, a huge townie, and a highly active member of salem’s queer art community, I feel I can bring a sense of salem’s true beauty and nature to the market through my work.
