Salem Main Streets is very pleased to produce the sixth annual Howl-o-ween Pet Parade. With the current restrictions and regulations, we are happy to announce a partnership with Creative Collective to revision this as a virtual event and contest until we can all gather safely in the future.

“This started as a very casual little event, and every year we grow more and more,” says Kylie Sullivan, Executive Director of Salem Main Streets. “Salem is such a pet-friendly city; it seemed like a no-brainer that we needed a community pet parade during Haunted Happenings. It’s such a special way to engage our residents, appeal to our visitors, and celebrate our local business community.” John Andrews, founder of Creative Collective “The need for positive events, hope and creativity are critical right now and we have been working, since the lockdown, to implement and educate our partners on ways to translate their important events into the digital space. With this event being open to even more people across the whole globe, we are really excited to see how this turns out!”

Participants this year can be from anywhere in the world and submissions can be submitted as photos or videos. The registration fee is $5 for Salem residents and $10 for non-residents. (Videos must be hosted elsewhere, we will be accepting links to videos, not files)
