Feather & Bloom, LLC brings handmade pyrography art and nature-inspired gifts to the Haunted Happenings Marketplace at Salem Common in Salem, Massachusetts, on October 17 and 31.
About Feather & Bloom
Artist Caroline Paxson individually woodburns and hand-finishes each piece, blending rustic New England craft with folklore, witchcraft, celestial imagery, and woodland storytelling. The collection includes altar and keepsake boxes, tarot-inspired art cards, Celtic knot designs, spirit animal artwork, ritual tools, coasters, bookmarks, and home décor.
Natural wood, warm earth tones, botanical details, ravens, owls, cats, bees, and Green Man imagery give the work a mystical but welcoming character. Visitors can look closely at the burned linework and find functional pieces or one-of-a-kind art for gifting, collecting, or personal ritual.
Woodburned Folklore and Woodland Art
Feather & Bloom’s work is made by hand rather than mass produced. The natural grain and edge of each wood surface become part of the finished piece, giving familiar seasonal and symbolic motifs an individual presentation.
