Partnership opportunities

There is no single way to partner with Haunted Happenings Marketplace. The strongest collaborations begin with what you want to accomplish and what will add value to the visitor and community experience.

Support

Support official programming

Help make downtown programming, visitor services, public experiences, and community-centered activity possible. Sponsor recognition and deliverables are customized to the opportunity, timing, and confirmed scope.

Best for: local and regional businesses, institutions, hospitality partners, and brands seeking meaningful season-long visibility.

Activate

Create an on-site activation

Meet visitors through an approved product-sampling experience, demonstration, photo moment, pop-up, or other activation. Saturday–Sunday commercial packages currently begin at $2,500 for an approved 10×10 footprint; premium dates, larger footprints, added services, and exclusivity are quoted separately.

Best for: regional or national brands with a clear audience experience and an experienced activation team.

Inform

Reach and inform visitors

Explore sponsored storytelling, visitor information, newsletter, website, social, guide, app, or cross-promotional opportunities where the relevant channel owner has inventory and approves the fit.

Best for: attractions, hospitality, regional destinations, transportation partners, and businesses with a useful visitor story.

Contribute

Build a community partnership

Contribute services, equipment, products, expertise, transportation, accessibility support, or another resource that strengthens the season. In-kind support is evaluated against a documented need and a fair recognition plan.

Best for: community organizations, civic partners, service providers, and businesses with a specific resource to contribute.

Collaborate

Propose something original

Have a collaboration that does not fit neatly into a package? Tell us the goal, the audience experience, and what you would bring. Strong ideas can become custom partnerships when they fit the place, the season, and the community.

Why partner here

More than a logo placement

The best partnerships become part of the October experience. Every deliverable must appear in the signed agreement and fulfillment plan; these examples are illustrative, not guarantees.

  • A visitor-facing presence in an approved downtown location
  • Shared sponsor recognition and a linked partner profile
  • Pre-event storytelling through approved digital channels
  • Newsletter or visitor-information inclusion
  • Coordinated logistics review and an event-day contact
  • Community or program alignment that makes the support understandable
  • A post-season summary when measurement and reporting are included

Planning a sampling or brand activation?

Current Saturday–Sunday commercial activation rates are starting points for regional and national brands. Power, equipment rentals, refrigeration or storage, Creative Collective-provided staff, additional content or paid media, second locations, and category exclusivity are quoted separately.

Submitting an inquiry does not reserve a date or location. Final availability and terms are established only in a signed agreement.

Partnership questions

These answers cover the most common starting questions. Use the inquiry form for a specific idea, scope, or season.

Is this the vendor application?

No. Artists, makers, food businesses, and marketplace vendors should use the vendor-inquiry process. If you want both vendor space and a sponsorship or activation, pursue the two scopes separately.

Are opportunities only for large companies?

No. Opportunities can include commercial sponsorships, community support, in-kind resources, cross-promotion, and custom collaborations. Fit, timing, visitor value, and the ability to fulfill the idea matter as much as organization size.

Can we sample or sell products?

Some approved activations may include sampling, demonstrations, or sales. Product, signage, footprint, staffing, waste, insurance, permits, and location must be reviewed in advance. Regulated categories require additional approvals.

Are the packages fixed?

Commercial activation rates provide useful starting points. Sponsorships and multi-channel partnerships are customized around the approved scope, available inventory, and shared goals.

Does an inquiry hold a date or location?

No. An inquiry begins the review process. A date or location is confirmed only through a signed agreement and any required payment, insurance, permit, or approval steps.

Who produces Salem Haunted Happenings?

Salem Haunted Happenings is a citywide celebration supported by multiple organizers, businesses, institutions, and public partners. Creative Collective produces official marketplace and programming activations under permission. If your idea belongs with another producer or channel owner, we will route the inquiry whenever possible.
