About Die With Your Boots On

Die With Your Boots On brings goth and alternative fashion to the Haunted Happenings Marketplace in Salem, Massachusetts, with a booth on the Essex Street Pedestrian Mall in October. It is a small, independent, family-owned shop operating year-round from its storefront at 9 Church Street, carrying clothing, footwear and accessories in sizes XS–4X.

The selection spans tops, dresses, bottoms, corsets, jumpsuits, sweaters and coats, alongside boots, jewelry, bags and band merchandise. Size inclusivity shapes how the shop buys, with an emphasis on brands that carry plus sizes.

A Salem Storefront on Church Street

Founder Amber Newberry opened Die With Your Boots On in 2018 as a small boutique on Pickering Wharf. It has since grown into a Church Street storefront with a stage for events, part of Salem’s year-round alternative community rather than a seasonal pop-up.

The Church Street shop is open seven days a week. The Marketplace booth is an easy first stop for October visitors, a short walk from the full shop.
