Pianist Eleena Gelfgatt performs a 45-minute solo concert entirely by candlelight in historic Ames Memorial Hall, part of the Ames Hall Gothic Series. The program pairs seasonal classical repertoire with the atmosphere of Salem in October. Gelfgatt holds a Master’s degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the National Music Academy in Kyiv, Ukraine, and made her Carnegie Hall debut in 2018.
Good to know: The hall is lit by candlelight, so lighting stays low throughout the performance. There is no intermission. Ticket proceeds support Creative Arts scholarships and programming at the YMCA of the North Shore.
