The Cannery at Forten brings an outdoor bar to Charlotte Forten Park at 289 Derby Street in Salem for the 2026 Haunted Happenings season. Stop for a drink, meet up with friends and enjoy the park’s food, artisan shopping and live programming along the waterfront.

Drinks by the waterfront

The Cannery is working with local breweries and spirits companies for its Forten bar. The park brings together independent businesses and seasonal experiences as part of Creative Collective’s Haunted Happenings Marketplace.

Food is available separately from Forten’s food vendors, including Empanada Kingdom and Holy Cow Ice Cream Cafe. Menus and individual food-service hours may vary.

Charlotte Forten Park, 289 Derby Street, Salem, MA 01970. The Cannery’s Forten bar operates Thursday through Sunday, October 1–November 1, plus Monday, October 12. The times below are bar-service hours; artisan markets and performances follow their own schedules.

Make a Forten stop

Opening and parade night is Thursday, October 1. The Cannery serves 4–9 p.m., and DJ Kim Collins plays 5:30–8:30 p.m. Browse the Charlotte Forten Park directory and programming for the current lineup and each vendor’s dates.
