XARTSTUDENT works across paintings, prints, stickers, wood burning, painted objects, bone art, and photography. Nature, stories, and a witchy gothic sensibility connect the collection. The submitted work includes a vividly painted circular saw blade, a moth-shaped hanging piece, and illustrated prints. Those different surfaces are part of the appeal: the same interest in creatures, plants, and eerie storytelling carries from a small paper piece to an object made for the wall. The artist describes each original piece as having its own story.
